For CAA Atlantic Let's talk
For CAA AtlanticPre-RFP response · November 2026

CAA Atlantic, supported for what's next.

Our response to CAA Atlantic's request ahead of its RFP for ongoing support and evolution of atlantic.caa.ca and beyondbycaa.ca.

01WelcomeThank you for thinking of us

We know these sites. We'd love to keep building them.

Hi Rick,

Thank you for reaching out ahead of the RFP. We'd be glad to be part of what comes next.

We've worked with CAA Atlantic before. We led discovery, IA, UX/UI design, content and French adaptation for the website redevelopment in 2023–24, then carried on with Phase 2, UX refinement, the e-biz join flow, a photoshoot and the component guide. Throughout, we worked alongside your development partner through QA.

So we already know the platform, the components and the members it serves. That's a head start we'd love to put to work.

02Our responseInterested, and responding to both lots

Yes, we're in. For both lots.

Here's how we'd cover each part of the scope, with one team across both lots. Our relevant experience follows in section 03.

Lot 1

Technology, Hosting Support & Drupal Services

  • Drupal application supportWe host and maintain bramptonbrick.com, a Drupal 10 site, today.
  • Security updates and incident responseCore, module and platform updates planned and tested before release, with a clear route for urgent issues.
  • Upsun / Platform.sh administration and operational supportWe host and maintain bramptonbrick.com on Upsun/Platform.sh today.
  • GitHub Actions and CI/CDWe use GitHub with GitHub Actions on RE/MAX, through WordPress VIP. Most of our pipelines run on Bitbucket Pipelines, the equivalent tool, so automated build, test and deploy is everyday work for us.
  • Development, testing and release of enhancements and integrationsNew work built against the component system we helped design, and tested in staging before it ships.
Lot 2

Website Experience & Optimization Services

  • UX, as neededThe team that led the redevelopment's discovery, IA and UX/UI design, on call when you need it.
  • Accessibility, as neededAccessibility reviews, audits and fixes when you need them, with accessibility designed in from the start on new features.
  • SEO, as neededWe run SEO for March of Dimes Canada today, and previously led SEO for Efficiency Nova Scotia and JDRF.
03ExperienceRelevant work, grouped by lot

Familiar platform. Familiar client.

A quick look at the work most relevant to this RFP: our history with CAA Atlantic, the Efficiency Nova Scotia platform we actively manage, the Drupal site we run on Upsun for Brampton Brick, and the RE/MAX platform we maintain in GitHub.

01 / WE KNOW CAA ATLANTICLots 1 + 2

We helped shape the site you have today.

CAA Atlantic

We led discovery, IA, UX/UI design, content and French adaptation for the website redevelopment (2023–24), plus follow-on work: Phase 2, UX refinement, the e-biz join flow, a photoshoot and the component guide.

We worked alongside the development partner through QA, so we know how the components were designed to be used.

Efficiency Nova Scotia homepage
02 / HOSTED, SECURED AND ACTIVELY MANAGEDLots 1 + 2

A public-facing platform we actively manage.

Efficiency Nova Scotia

A headless site on Contentful and Next.js, with personalization, an AI chatbot, calculators and Find a Contractor. We handle its hosting, maintenance and security, and actively manage the site.

We also led SEO for Efficiency Nova Scotia.

Brampton Brick homepage, a Drupal site hosted on Upsun/Platform.sh
03 / DRUPAL ON UPSUN, IN PRODUCTION TODAYLot 1

The platform in your scope is one we run today.

Brampton Brick

We currently host and maintain bramptonbrick.com, a Drupal 10 site, on Upsun/Platform.sh: the same CMS and platform named in Lot 1.

RE/MAX Canada blog, run on WordPress VIP
04 / GITHUB AND PLATFORM CARE AT SCALELot 1

Hosting, maintenance and security for a national brand.

RE/MAX · Canada + US

We manage RE/MAX's WordPress VIP environment and the sites under it, including hosting, maintenance and security updates, working directly with their tech team.

That work runs in GitHub with GitHub Actions, the same toolset named in Lot 1.

04How we'd workOur approach across both lots

Steady care. Steady progress.

Keeping two Drupal sites secure, current and improving is ongoing work. Here's how we'd approach it.

  1. Continuity from the original UX

We designed the IA, the components and the join flow, so enhancements build on that system instead of working around it.

  2. Security and updates on a set cadence

Drupal core, module and platform updates planned on a regular schedule and tested before release, with a clear route for anything urgent.

  3. A clean release process

Every change moves through your GitHub Actions pipeline into a staged environment for testing before it goes live. We work in GitHub and Bitbucket Pipelines today, so we're at home in either.

  4. Accessibility and SEO, built into new work

New features and templates are designed with accessibility and search in mind from the start, with audits and fixes available as needed.

  5. One team across both lots

Developers, designers and SEO specialists working from one plan, with people in Halifax and Toronto.

05Next stepsThank you
